Luke 1:1-4

Luke writes to
Theophilus about the events that has happened and he notes that many people were writing about the events as well.  These writers were getting eyewitness accounts from the disciples of Jesus and preserving them for future generations.

Why was Luke writing to Theophilus?  So that Theophilus could be certain of the truth that he was taught.

Key:  The Bible is historical and contains eyewitiness accounts.  It's God's Word preserved for us to read, learn and live a life that God wants us to live.
